HELP! My Sony radio wont keep the preset memory when I turn my Electra off

Sounds like running yellow straight to battery is the best and probably easiest way. I i can run the wire through the gas tanks lip, and hoom up to battery.. thanks..
 
Glacierpearl, i have one word for you.. BADASS.. cool system on your bike man.. Iam actually in the process of doing something similar on my electra. Instead of 4 6x9 iam just putting one on each bag, and I am still shopping for a small amp to push them. Very similar in style too, i drilled holes on the inside for sound< although looking at yours, I will go back to drill bigger holes now. ONE QUESTION> I have a concern of slight rain, or when i wash my bike, how will I keep water from entering into those holes we drilled in the inside of the bags???? any suggestions??? Damm i hope i dont mess up my new 6x9s with water...

I stay away from rain,....and remove my bags when I wash/clean it !!

You can always put marine speakers in the hard bags !! I think that POLK makes some nice ones.
