My sharp LCD tv has been skipping with audio off and on for the last 10 months. It works great, then while watching tv or a dvd/blu ray it will get hung up on a word and repeat itself and it won't stop until we get the tv off. The picture stays in real time and does not flinch. We turn the tv off with the remote, then the set will not turn back on with the remote or the manual access. We have to turn off our power strip and then you can turn it on??? We have a HD Dish network box hooked up, a blu ray player also. This happened about 2-3 times per week for a while....then it didn't do it for a few months, no recently it has started back. Do you have to upgrade these tv's?? ANY help would be great. Thanks
