HELP! my mother is cuban, does anyone know about the string test for virginity?

Okay so my mother is cubana nd in cuba they this test called "la prueba de hilo" and its a test where you get the string and fold it in half then you measure the persons neck and once that's done you grab the part that you measured and you tell the person to hold it between their front teeth then if the string goes over your head you not a vigin and if it does you aren't, I can't really explain it but I've tried it with my friends and we think it works does anyone know for a fact its not true, or have a was to cheat it? I wanna lose it to my bf, but I don't exactly want my mother to know.

I would suggest you ask this question in the travel section for Cuba, you will more likely get answers from Cuban people who know this test. I think its crap personally, I think its just to see you react, so if you react scared then she knows, if you react calm then she will think you are still a virgin.
