Help!! My horse doesn't know how to lounge!! How can I teach him how???

He is and 8 yr old Walking horse and when i try to lounge him he follows me around like he is just on a very long lead line!!
I also dont have a lot of time to READ a book on it because i am trying to get him ready for a show and another horse 2!
OK i am no speller so yes i mean lunge sry
