Hello
I have a 120 gallon tank, with two Oscar's, 2 green severums, 1 blue acara & 2 other cichlids (cant remember the name)
So i've had my 2 oscars for 6 months now, and they were very happy & healthy. Until 2 weeks ago when i added the 5 small cichlids. About 5 days ago i noticed the blue acara flicking itself in the sand, then about 3 days ago the blue acara & tiger oscar started to show signs of white spots... Now as of today the blue acara & tiger oscar are covered in white spots and the other fish have 1-2 spots on them!
I haven't a clue where to start, we did a big water change and cleaned the sand on saturday, and i've tried to turn the temp up slowly but my thermometers are only reading 80 degrees even thou i have my 2 heaters at 92 :/
Can anyone give me some simple steps on how to treat the ick as i haven't had to deal with this before, and i don't want my fish to die!
I've heard that heat & salt will get rid of it but i don't know where to start!!
