Help My Desktop User name is missing

I came home tonight to sync my TX to my desktop (as I have done for a year) and when I clicked the Icon I got a message, choose a user name. (My user name did not show up. As I tried to add it I was told it is already associated with a profile. (I could not see this)

I pressed sync anyway and my log says it sync'd with my user name and I see my user name in the Hotsync log. But, I can't open my Desktop.

What do I do? :confused:

What actually worked was un-installing the desktop and re-installing it and then syncing with the hand held overwrites the destop.
