My cat, Dolly, last last produced stool Monday and then later in the day started throwing up a white frothy liquid when she would drink any water. We let it go until she continued to throw up until she threw up multiple times tuesday night. We took her to the vet wednesday where she stayed the night and was hydrated by the vet but after xrays and tests run by the vet, the vet didnt find anything abnormal other than constipation. She has yet to eat anything other than a few bits of wet food from monday till today (thursday).
We have started force feeding her water, and she can keep small amounts down. It is now thursday night and she has still not eaten/drank water on her own nor has she pooped.
I am very worried about her. she is one and a half yrs old and dont understand what is wrong because this has come on so suddenly. I have combed through many forums and found similar problems reported, but few lasting this long.
If anyone has any advice I will take it. I am planning on getting some baby food and pedialyte and continuing the force feeding process tomorrow morning. I am mentally and physically exhausted over this and want her to feel better.
does anybody have any advice? Anyone ever been through this before? Any stories (good or bad) will help me understand what is wrong with her.
