Help!! My car key has snapped in half?

I went to get in my car this morning and I noticed that about 2/3 of the key has snapped off :(:(
I have the other part of the key with me and when I put it back together it looks ok again, would it be possible to get a key cutter to make a decent enough copy from my two halves??

If not what am I meant to do? It is the spare key as my sister (who previously owned the car) lost the original years ago :(

Yeah, they should be able to cut a new one for you from the 2 halves, but if not, just ask the manufacturer to fit new locks, or I personally, would call the AA out to break into it for me. (uk= Automobile Association)
