I'm at my wits end. My daughter just turned 3 and will not listen to me and constantly whines all day long every 5 minutes it seems. I can't even leave the living room and she starts crying because I left to go into the kitchen. I don't know what to do and how to make her listen and stop the whining. I yell and it just makes things worse.
Thanks everyone this has been some good advice. The only big change is I quit my job to stay home with her and it seems to be worse now that I quit my job. My mom watched her from 9 months thru last year but then in 2007 she was bounched from my Aunts house to my mother-in-law watching her. She just doesn't want to be separated from me. No other sibilings she is an only child. I just find her behavior weird. She even sleeps with us. She won't sleep alone. Her excuse is she's afraid of trucks on the highway. She can hear highway noise from her room but it's not that loud. I guess I'll keep working on her. I'm sure her pediatricia will love the visit next Wednesday!
