I just had a leak in the Transmission (it was a Part of the Radiator) but got it fixed, this morning as usual my car had a slight Dry Start but that is normal (oil is full, i check it daily) then suddenly after about 10 minutes of driving the Engine Temp. Gauge started climbing at a alarming rate my engine fan went on at full speed it did not go down...
i would like to point out that the Temp' Gauge did not go on even when the Temp' reading was at the the top of the Gauge right before the red Line.
I then parked the car and it started to cool down. i shut it off everything sounded normal... Checked the Coolant i figured it is something to do with the Cooling System the coolant was very low But it could be some was still left in the Car...
Ok does anyone have any idea what this is???
usually my Temp' Readin is slightly bellow the half line...
any idea would be great...

you could've just been exactly as you said, low on coolant.
you could've had an air pocket in the system and it took overnite to get it to bleed itself out, top it off and if it happens again, or the needle raises fast, your thermostat is stuck.
also check to make sure your cooling fans(s) are working too.

Coolant leaks at plastic thermostat housing is common.Hard to get at,alternator is in the way.

If you have low coolant this would definitely cause the car to overheat. Fill the coolant until you get the normal level. Try that first. If this does not solve you issue, you may want to make sure your thermostat is working properly. Since your fans are working, I would not look there. Low coolant and thermostat is what I would check first. Hope this helps.

if it did this all the sudden there's three main things that will cause this too happen and one is the water pump and the other is a bad thermostat or low coolant, and the low coolant can be caused by a leaking water pump on it,first you need to refill the system and check it for leaks, then test the reservoir to make sure its not leaking and id remove the thermostat and place it in a boiling pot of hot water to see if its opening right ,if not replace it,don't run th vehicle long though if its overheating,it doesn't take much to blow a head gasket on th this one,and you don't want this too happen, good luck with it.
