she's driving me crazy.? I'm about to jump out of my skin my mom is literally driving me bonkers. I'm a 28 year old guy, I live in the south, my family is from NY. Well, In my personal life things were getting kinda rough between my girlfriend and I and we decided to break up / take some time apart. When I told my mom about this, she insisted that I move back in with her, ( She lives in the same city ) For a few months to put some money away, well , shes going threw a divorce from my dad so i felt inclinded to because she's been depressed. So I move back in and now I want to move out so bad, because my mom is trying to micro manage me 24/7.
For example, Yesterday morning I was mailing my check off to my bank. I have had the same account with the same small bank for about 10 years. These people know me very well, When I get my paychecks, I just mail them to them because it's cheaper than driving the 30 minutes there and back every Friday to drop my check off. So as normal, Im putting my paycheck in a envelope and my mom see's me and says " What are you doing". I told her mailing my check to the bank. She goes " Go get a deposit slip and put it in there with it. I told her I don't have to, they know me well and I've been doing this system with no deposit slip for 4 or 5 years with no problems. She then demands that I go get my check put and write out a deposit slip? I said " why are you telling me what to do"? She goes " I used to work at a bank, you need to get in the habbit of doing that, your an adult you need to act like one" . I continued to tell her to calm down and not worry about it, and she storms off angry that I did not do what she said. It's like this with everything though. And it's driving me crazy. Everything we do here has to be planned out by her, and her way or the highway. Even though she's wrong a lot of times, that does not matter. She acts like I'm incapable of thinking for myself and Its so annoying. Every little thing that I do she tries to micro manage. And Set all the plans out, and Makes me follow them out her way. Even to the point where she is debating me on what time to go to the post office. It's absurd. What should I do?
