i'm writing an essay for APUSH and i need some help coming up with ideas for my conclusion
the essay task is: compare and contrast the economies, geography and climate, mortality rates, sex ratios, and family relationships of New England and the southern colonies
this is my intro:
In the 17th century Chesapeake was devastated by disease. Immigrants were young and single, but died soon after arriving. There were very few families, and those were weak. But The Southern colonies carried on, trying to make the best of it. When speaking of economics, geography and climate, mortality rates, sex ratios, and family relationships, New England and the Southern colonies had less similarities then differences. Both colonies had positives and negatives, but the Southern colonies experienced more negatives than the New England colonies.
