I'm buying some feeder crickets tomorrow since it takes too long to get a decent number of field crickets collected, and I need some advice.
1) How big should the crickets be, if I have a choice?
2) How do I keep the crickets alive if I have some left over after my fishing trip?
3) What is the proper way to hook them? There are three important things in my opinion, in this order: positioning it to encourage a good bite/set, keeping it alive rather than killing it instantly, and hooking it where it won't fall apart.
If you could answer those 3 questions I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much.
