Refer to the graph of y=sinx or y=cos x to find the exact values of x in the interval [0,4pi] that satisfy the equation.
1) sin x=1/2
Can you explain how to do these types of questions because the way the book explains it and the way my teacher did it just confused me. There's also another set where it says Refer to the graph of y=tan x to find the exact values of x between the interavl (-pi/2, 3pi/2) that satisfy the equation.
