Help me with Test Cricket rules ... What do England need to do to draw or win game?

I have started getting into cricket through 20-20 ... love it!

Watching Ashes and Australia have declared 674 for 6 in first innings. England got 435 in first innings.

So do England have to just stay in bat until end of day 5 to get a draw? Or do they have to score at least 239 (to match Australia's first innings total) AND stay in bat until end of day 5 to get a draw?

I am a little bit confused. Could you please give me a few scenario based examples to help me understand the rules better? Thanks!!
Frank - thanks for your answer. What would happen in the situation below.

England bat in 2nd innings and go 150 runs ahead of Australia's total, and then declare with half day play left.

Australia do not score the required 150 to win but stay in bat until end of day.

Is this a draw or do Australia lose?
