I suck so much at my job at Taco Bell, today was my first day, the touch screen thing was kinda complicated finding everything. I don't know what to do to get better. I like the people I work with but a few of the customers I get get a little rowdy. I don't know how I'm gonna handle 6.5 hours every saturday and sunday. Advice please.

Well, you will get used to it. However, I've worked out in the aisles for months and suddenly they've made me a cashier at the grocery store I work at. Its so bad I'm quitting. If being a cashier isn't your thing, then you should find a new job.

Give it a few weeks for you to get used to it though, it just takes some time.

It gets easier with time. It's all new so you have to get the hang of it. Just remain calm don't panic. Be polite to the customers and employees. If someone gets hateful say "I apologize I'm new and I'm trying really hard to get the hang of things". Most of the time they will lay off with the attitude. Best of luck!

Everything has a learning curve. What is life if not a teaching tool? If you like the people you work with then that should be a clue that they are going to help you and do their best to make sure that you do well. As for working with the public, that is always a challenge. But, the best way to deal with an unpleasant customer is to kill them with kindness. When ever I find a member of my customers rude, I put on the sweet so thick, I am dripping sugar. It really catches people of guard and it is the best revenge.

hey man its all good i just started my new job yesterday at McDonald's and what i can say is roll with the punches take it as it comes and don't worry just try your best and before you no it your guna be just fine

try your best, keep learning, try to make a cheat sheet, ask for help if you need to. Customers will always be annoying regardless of where you go. It can get fast paced so good luck and I hope you have a good manager who knows how to train.
