Help me with my flash drive please?

I have a game on my flash drive I play. If I plug it in launch the game and take out my flash drive, it still runs normally. will it eventually crash? If I put it back in will it fix that?

Also the same for a document. If I type something and unplug the flash drive and save it normally where will it save to?
 
are you saying that it crashes because it should not. i have games on my and i do it all the time. it is ok to pull out a flash drive after the game has started. BUT you must first go to my computer and eject it.
