Help me with DS game!!!!!!?

I have an R4 and when i downloaded Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story, it loads but then when you create a new file, i try to press,press A on the New File and i pressed every other button but it take me any where. It just stays in that menu. It doesn't look like it is frozen because the music still plays

Buy the actual thing instead of just downloading it.
