I'm made freshmen cheerleader this year, and I really wanna make varsity my sophomore year. I'm really nervous because tryouts are in March. I have really good and high jumps and I'm good at dancing and I have a lot of spirit. Everything comes pretty easy to me except for tumbling. I've been working on it for about 2 years and I'm just starting to get my back handspring by myself. I see other people who can do multiple back handsprings in only a year, and I don't understand why it's taking me so long. The tryouts will be judged by UCA cheerleaders. Does tumbling count for a lot? And what do they look for when they're judging?
