That happened with the four of my guppies. You cannot do anything about it I am sorry to say. What I did was to continue to feed it with my fingers, because it can't swim to the surface. It lived for a week and it's backbone got bended sideways. If you have any other fish in the same aquarium do not pour any of the water the gold fish is in the aquarium they are in.
Change the water immediately if you have any other fish in the aquarium. But if it doesn't show change after three days or so, just kill it yourself if you want so it doesen't feel anymore agony. It can sound cruel but it's better than watching it squirm in pain.

you have ammonia in your tank i can guarentee it, you either wash your filter under you tap / dont use a dechlorinator or feed to much, if you do any of these then you have problems. get your water tested at pets at home for free, just bring some in. dont bring it in with the fish in though.

How big is this container and does it contain dechlorinated water? How big is the main tank and does it have a cycled filter? Also can you provide us with the results from a set of water tests (including the pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate)?
