Help me remember this old film...

I'm hoping someone can help me remember what this film is. I saw it as a young girl so its probably a 80's film.

The only clear bit i remember is a woman in a room (she is a prisoner) and the ceiling starts coming down on her, so she crawls into a vent shaft to escape but once she's in there the walls of the shaft then start to crush her.

I also remember a pigeon sitting on a bannister possible setting off an alarm.

Not much to go on but if anyone can shed some light then thanks!!

SounRAB Italian to me. One of Dario Argento's maybe? Can't think what exactly. Could be Creepers.

You should try the Horror Board on IMDB. I've posted asking about quite a few films I saw as a kid, of which I only vaguely remembered a few scenes here & there. You usually get a reply within just a few minutes! Horror Fans are highly knowledgeable creatures ^_^
