my car just had the fuel filter changed because it's been having a lot of problems with staying started. when stopped in drive it i guess stalls out and dies. it'll chug a few times and then die, and when it dies you'll hear what sounds like pressure being let out. anyways, we changed the fuel filter and at first it seemed to have done the job, but it keeps doing it every now and then. please help me figure out what's wrong with it.
and btw, it also chugs when driving, especially right after pulling out.
its got all new spark plugs i dont even know what ignition wires are. lol.
i know when my stepdad started it after replacing the fuel filter a lot of black and brown looking smoke came out of the muffler.
