I am looking forward to go to Canada, study and work there.Let's say my family will not support me financially AT ALL (they will help me, but let's just say they can't). I am an international student. As I am Ecuadorian (and I want to study at Concordia university, at Montreal) I COULD be applying to a program that allows me to pay the same as any regular canadian student (no international student fees). However, let's say I don't apply to that and I have to pay the whole thing.I'm calculating It'll be about $22,000 yearly. How can I afford this? Will a part-time job be enough? If not, should I get a full-time job and not sleep at night? What scholarships can I apply to? Canadian and American universities are not that different. Is it easy to apply for scholarships? I am good student. I have the 2nd highest grade in my class (this year, but last year I was first) and I got IB certificates on 4 subjects. I am a good football/soccer player. Does entering a team earn me anything? If I don't stay on the campus, it'll be about $16,000 yearly. Can I afford that by working at Canada? I would start studying on september. If I go to Canada and work full-time since March, could I earn enough to help me pay for my education?Anything you can say that may help me, please say it. I'm desperate, the woman I love will be going to Canada and I MUST follow her, no matter what.Even if I have to live on the streets and starve myself I don't care, as long as I can go and study at Montreal, Canada. Please help me.I don't know French. Is there any other university at Montreal that I should take into account? I was thinking of McGill but it's too expensive and I don't know if I'll be able to afford it.
