So me and my bf are discussing what type of dog to get. I want a wolf-like dog (100% domestic though, not a hybrid... maybe a large Spitz of some kind, similar in appearance to a Tamaskan dog) and my bf wants a Klee Kai or a Mini Husky. Is there any wolf-like dog thats in the middle, size-wise? Pref of the Spitz variety? I know one is a regular size Husky which I am considering but their blue eyes freak me out lol. We're also considering a Shiba. Are there any other good breeds? Please keep in mind that: 1. The dog needs to be good around cats and 2. Easily trained and 3. Not too noisy. We will be starting with a puppy though so I'm not too worried about the cats and the training.
