Okay so I saw a 2ft long fish, hiding under a rock. It was probably around +5lbs and looked like some sort of grouper, but I only say that because it had a shape that wasn't like a perch or elongated in any strange way, and was like a grouper if I had to guess.
So the main feature of the fish was it's dark almost black scales with tiny purple to dark violet blue spots (all the spots were the same color) on it's whole body. The spots were all evenly spaced apart and were really small, not like quarter sized spots, more like pin head sized spots.
