I want a GSXR but idk what size.

On one han d I want the 600 because iv never rode a sport bike before and insurance is cheaper.

But on the other hand I want the 1000 because im always wanting to go faster and it will probably be the last bike ill want for a long time.

So what is the insurance price difference and if you have an opinion share it

Well first of all if you have never operated a sport bike before why on earth would you want the 1000 "because you are always wanting to go faster"? and "it will probably be the last bike you will want for a long time"... this last part i do believe is true because you will probably not want to even look at another bike after you "go faster" on a bike "you have never rode before" and end up crashing messing up yourself, your bike you spent all your money on and your insurance after the cops finish writing you tickets for excessive speed, reckless driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision, possible vehicular manslaughter, and being a total moron ... all this IF you are lucky enough to live through all of your serious life threatening injuries. But keep in mind the chick who posted prior to my answer will be impressed (so will i as i see you sliding across the pavement slamming into / and over the jersey wall into the oncoming lanes of traffic being thrown by the oncoming vehicle back into the jersey wall like a rag doll)So i would suggest for you being an inexperienced rider who likes to go fast and take chances with your life/ ability to walk or move you should get the fastest bike available!

well with insurance, it all depends on who you have and what kind of driving history you have. me personally think you should get the fastest one :-) because most girls like fast motorcycles.

hope this helps! :-)

Insurance will be outrageous either way. I personally don't think a liter bike is the best way to go for a beginner, but at least the Gixxer family comes with the selector switch to tune it down, I suggest you tune it down at first! I have an R1 and I live in Florida where you don't have to have insurance on a bike, so I don't. As a 21 year old guy it would pretty much just be cheaper for me to just buy a new one if anything happens to it! All things considered, liter bikes are pretty civilized below 6000 RPM, so if you respect the bike's power you will be ok. Go with the 1000.

Go with the 1000, Sure a 600 is fast but you will get tired of it and want more power and speed after about say 10 min..... Insurance is going to be nuts especially if your young but, oh well you'll have loads of fun. Unless you plan on stunting the bike I'd go with the 1000, and remember whenever you get into liter bikes your gonna pay the man to have it! Plus really the insurance isn't that much more maybe 30-50 more a month and you can always just liability it. That's what I do cause if you gonna wreck you ain't gettin up and you'll just mess your bike up!
