This may sound odd, because no one I've asked so far seems to have any idea of what I'm talking about, but I hope someone out there can help me figure this out ^_^ because it's driving me crazy!
There was a show that used to come on cartoon network when I was very young (in the early to mid nineties). It came on at night, though I'm not sure exactly how late. It was a segmented show, so there was a main plotline and then other ... well, segments. The only segment I remember very well focused on a Vampire who tried, and failed, to tell scary stories to a group of children (the vampire and children were all live action, while the story he was telling would be an animated short that played while he actually told the story). I think that the lead in to the main plotline may have been live action as well, segueing into animation after the intro.
