Problem:
I stand on a book. Draw a free body diagram showing all forces acting on the book.
Now I know that there is the Fg (gravitational force) which is pulling it down, the normal force which is pushing it up, and the Fa (force applied). So isn't it supposed to be an arrow down (composed of Fa +Fg) and another equal length arrow up being the normal force? I say this since the book doesn't enter the floor, so there obviously is a normal force.
