Help me decide on a bike

The problem is that if I don't get an 848 I will always want one and wonder what I am missing so I should probably just get that. I will find out more tomorrow though. Seems like the best bike for me.. I have been told an Aprilia Tuono would be sweet also. I am not feeling the way they look. I love Ducati, getting 10% over dealer cost on parts makes a crazy difference in determining.

go for whats making you ache inside rezac.....you dont wanna regret being 'sensible' over a few bucks here and there......and you are in right place to save some $ anyways.....

I have some neck problems from rockin too hard at an Iron Maiden concert, no shit.

I love my 848 and am now more comfortable as I raised the bars as far as they could go with the Speedymoto triple and clip ons. You can do the same with the Helibars.

Oh, and my 7,500 mile service cost $750.00

Damn, if I could get another 848 for 12000 bucks, I would be there quick!

Good Luck and slow the hell down, LOL.

I didn't think that seemed like a great price sine we have them listed at $12,495. Apparently there isn't much of a mark up on them. The pearl white 848 would make me go stare at it all the time. Bad part is that I will have to store it at a freinds house for a while so I will have to take a lot of pictures so I an stare at them all the time. Also sucks that the roads have lots of snow and ice on them. The first thing I am going to do to it is get the carbon fiber mud guard, seems like a good idea to keep dirt and stuff off my shock. Any other suggestions for a first mod? I would love a slipper clutch but that may be in the future.

I plan to speed up but on a track this year instead. I am hoping this winter I can go to cali for a race school at Laguna, one of my friends is an instructor there so he can get me a good deal, plus it would be a good vacation.

Sounds like you made your choice before you even posted !!!! I'd get the 848, its the bike that pulled me out of a 10 year hiatus!!! For first mods i'd stick with the tank guard, rear hugger and 14t sprocket and if you have the cash to spend and plan to track the bike or just like the extra stability get a steering dampner.
