Help me decide on a backup/tinkering phone.

So I cant decide on a backup/tinkering phone... I'm kinda leaning towards Android but which one....

HTC Magic?
HTC Hero?
Samsung Galaxy?
Galaxy Spica?
Moto Milestone if the price is right... under 400.
LG eve?
Samsung Omnia 2? thats a big maybe
