Help me choose which camcorder cannon vixia HF S100 or panasonic HDC-TM10?

Help me choose which camcorder Cannon vixia HF S100 or Panasonic HDC-TM10. The cannon is a little more expensive but is it worth the extra cost and what will I gain? I will use the camcorder for home videos and will be editing most of them.
I can get the panasonic for $399 and the Cannon for $550
