Help me answer these Chemistry questions please!?

I have to finish some chemistry questions soon. Only problem is they're asking about stuff I have no way of knowing. Some of the stuff I need to answer are contents 3 chapters (200+ pages) ahead of where I'm even supposed to be!!

For each of the following proposed reactions, in aqueous solution, choose the precipitated product.
NaCl + AgNO3 => ?
CaCl2 + K2CO3 =>?
K2SO4 + SrCl2 =>?
KNO3 + AgCl=>?

Consider the solubility of the possible ionic compounds formed. (See your text.) The water soluble ionic compounds are generally fully ionized in solution. Thus, for a chemical reaction to be observed, one of the products must be insoluble. Refer to the solubility 'rules' in your text to identify which compounds will be insoluble.

If you do know how to answer these, could you also tell me HOW you found the answers....

I dont understand what the "solubility rules" are...and how do I know what the "precipitated" products are?
PS-thank you!
P.P.S- How can I tell what are precipitates and what are not. All I know is that precipitates are solids in a product...but they havent taugh us how to determine somehtings physical state at where I am.

For the first reaction, the precipitate is Silver Chloride
For the second reaction, the precipitate is Calcium Carbonate
For the third reaction, the precipitate is Strontium sulfate
For the fourth reaction, there is NO PRECIPITATE formed. But oen of the reactants (Silver Chloride) is already a precipitate

For these, you basically use a solubility rules table. And knowing the products of the reaction, you can determine which solution is NOT soluble (i.e. the precipitate). Depending on the course you are doing, they may provide a table, or you may be required to memorise the rules. Below are a few examples. I suggest you familiarise yourself with some of the different formats of these tables for convenience.

Hope that helps and Godd Luck!!!
