Help Jailbreaking 3gs on os 3.0

Sorry to ask the question but I'm having problems jailbreaking a 3gs running OS 3.0

I have tried Redsn0w 0.8 but the program shuts down with a windows error about 10 seconds into the jailbreak.

I have tried it on both Vista an XP but on both machines Redsn0w reports a windows error.

Is there a simply way to jailbreak 3gs on 3.0 without wiping the phone's memory i.e. no custom IPSW instal

Spirit isn't compatable with OS3.0

Blackra1n starts to run but gets stuck with the phone showing the restore screen?

use redsnow : Unlock software, repair and flash tools, service manuals, unlock codes ..

when u going in dfu mode or other?

You should use "Spirt" to jailbreak but only with activated sim.
