Help installing firmware on E71

Hey Guys,

Long time no post. I recently picked up a great condition used E71, still taking a bit of time to get used to it.

I want to upgrade the firmware to the V300 or 400 firmware, but it won't let me. The phone was originally with Rogers, and I used NSS to change the product code to 0559585 and the 0569371, but the Nokia Ovi Software still tells me that there is no firmware upgrade available for it.

Any suggestions?

I know this thread is really old, but i'm in a similar situation as you.

Just wondering if you ever got this resolved? and how can I resolve this?

Give us some more details on your setup; current firmware version, product code. The OP changed from a generic NAM product code to the US specific code and that code was notoriously slow for getting updates.

With more info we can help point you in the right direction.
