Assume that a Telecom employee would be happy to earn a wage of 100 euros per week. He is actually being paid 90 euros per week. Should he quit his job at a time when unemployment is rampant?
Discuss in detail why he should or should not continue working.

Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks

The only reason he would consider quitting his job is because he would like more money?

He needs to consider that what he is making now is more than he would make if he was unemployed, which is a likely outcome at a time when unemployment is rampant. He should keep his job while testing the labor market to see if he can do better. He should apply wherever he can while still working.

He also needs to consider what his skills are. Is he qualified to do any other kind of work? If he works for a monopoly, his skills may not transfer to another job, unless he is willing to relocate. Maybe he could find similar work with another company that he is qualified for, but maybe not. If his skills don't transfer, but he is unhappy with what he makes, he should do what he can to gain other skills. For example, enroll in night school or a trade school.
One option for gaining additional skills would be for him to quit his job so he can concentrate on education full time, but he would need to have the resources to do this, and he would have to be aware of the risk involved. What if he gained the skills and unemployment was still so high that he couldn't find a better job anyway?

He should get a second, part-time job installing telephone extensions and home networks..

Actual answer is related to supply and demand, and the price of labour in the market.. The price of labour is 90/week which reflects the demand for his skills.. If unemployment is high, then demand for labour is low. Therefore, the 'supply of labour exceeds demand...'

Are you getting the picture?

He should keep his job.

If he is rich, maybe he could stop working but if he is not, he should ask himself : How do I pay rent if I have no job ?, How do I eat ?, How can I pay for medicines if needed ? Doctor bills ? , - He better stay at work even if he makes 80Eu weekly -
