ok...I really liked mary stewart's airs above the ground it's a good novel...I am searching for a novel similar to it..preferably with the main charaters: the female:an independent woman & the male:tough,arrogant & confident...no love triangles please I hate them!!!!!!!!! thx in advance remember 10 POINTS
 
Try some of Elizabeth Peter's early novels. Some of my favorites are Summer of the Dragon, The Love Talker, and The Copenhagen Connection.
