help! im looking for a book that invovles 3 travelers taking these children to find

there dad? ABC made a movie out of it...i think
the travelers take the children to different worlds (like 2d) and they find there dad in a perfect world controlled by an evil brain
UGH! i cant think of the book
i need some quotes for it
