I'm a married man, 23 years old, been married to my lovely beautiful wife for two years and we have been together since high school. We have recently became parents and have a handsome baby boy who has joined the family. The problem, I think I have an unhealthy addiction to sex.
During the time my wife was pregnant, we didn't have any sex even though we still continued to make love. I'm not exactly the type of person who wants sex due to physical pleasure, to me its a spiritual thing and by heart I'm a pleaser meaning my life's pleasure means more than mines. But for my buddy down there, its totally different. When we got married, we both agreed to wait a full year before we start having children so we can enjoy love making with total freedom.
We used to have it a lot and waiting to have sex after marriage certainly made me happier than my friends who had sex during high school. We both love sex, but now that the baby is here I fear the amount we'll be having will be a lot lower.
I know there's substitutes, but masturbating is no where near enjoyable as the real thing. And there's no way I'd ever cheat on my wife just to please myself. I've told my wife my problem as I felt telling her first would be the best thing to do and a good step forward. She understands my problem and has even given me some suggestions to stop my craving but none of them worked.
Any help? I need to control this addiction before it ruins my life.
