I found a part which appears to be broken within the ventilation ducts of the internal fan system of my Civic. It seems to be an element or thermostat of some sort - it looks like a huge version of a bulb filament, (ie several connected springs) and has electrical connections to it.
I've not noticed anything working differently - I noticed it while cleaning the internal blower fan out.
What is it and what does it do?
