(BLC320EM9) no ouputs from TV? The only audio output from the TV that I can see is a coasial digital audio output jack (looks like an RCA type plug, not coax). I hooked up our old TV up to the stereo using two RC plugs from the audio out of the old tv into the aux/video spot on the stereo. It worked fine.
what about a digital to analog converter?

if you are up to the challenge...

open the TV cabinet (WARNING!!! This is VERY DANGEROUS! The second anode on the picture tube is about 22 thousand volts and the tube retains a charge even if the TV is OFF).

From the "high side" of the volume control, solder a wire and bring that wire out to the edge of the chassis. Solder another wire to the "low side" of the volume control and bring it out too.

Solder both wires to a RCA jack. The high side to the center, the low side to the ring.

Now, make your audio connections to this RCA jack. It will not be stereo, it will be mono, and you will need to add a RCA Y connector to feed both sides of the SX-6 AUX input.
