HELP!!! I need to calibrate my samsung impression!!?

ok well my phone has been havin the problem that when i tap something another thing reacts to it that is like an inch above it so i cant access my menu. So basically i need a different way to calibrate my phone (other then tapping menu then settings then calibrate)! PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!
