I'm in Speech and Debate, and when we perform interpretations of books, movies, or plays, we need to be able to give an ISBN # and show hard copy proof that our source is published. If you interpret a movie, you can buy the movie script online and give the invoice and ISBN #.
Here's my problem: My piece comes from the 1989 movie Dead Poets Society. I found the script online, but no where to buy it. I found the book, but the book is based on the movie so the lines don't match and I can't use it. I also found (and mistakenly purchased) the 1988 movie script. Unfortunately, this script is the same as the book so it doesn't help me either.
I need to find the 1989 movie script to LEGALLY buy and be able to show proof of purchase.
PLEASE! Does ANYONE know where I can find it? If I don't get it in I won't be able to compete at the tournament
