I have a scooter (I know) and I would like to get a real streat bike but my wife thinks that it would be unsafe. Says I'm a crazy driver. I would even settle for a low cc bike that looks good. I need some good arguements in my favor.

tell her its a guy thing and if she really loves you she would let you and not try and be so controlling. guys do things women dont understand and girls do things guys dont understand. even though your married you could get bold make a stand and go ahead and get one. wear the pants.

just stress the fact that it means a lot to you and you can experience lifes fun and live it to the fullest rather than live under a rock. tell her its apart of the man she married.

large life insurance policy on yourself? That is a good one
easier to make accident avoidance maneuvers.
More visible to other drivers, yet still good on gas

What scooter? Why do you think a scooter is not a real street bike? Why not just upgrade your scooter?

If you want the look of a small scooter the Vespa 300 looks safe. If simply a 'scooter' a Suzuki 650 Bergman will work.

wait...1. your married and don't have a bike. 2. why won't she let you get a bike!!!!!?!????!?3. im sure you can get a bike by urself
actually bikes are pretty unsafe. don't get one
lolz

Two things I'd like to bring up:

Motorcycles are perfectly safe; riders who are not careful and drivers who don't bother to look out for bikes are dangerous.

You should have consulted man-code: Always buy the motorcycle before you marry the girl.

if by bike you meen motor cycle then try this..

if a astroid struck the ocean near by I would be able to get away quicker =P

I highly doubt he means a bicycle, what married person trades in a electric (presumaly can't imagine a push powered one by a married couple) for a manuel bike.

They would much more likely go for a car
