I have been having cramps for the past few days, but no sign of my period. I felt the urge that I was going to start any day now, but when I woke up this morning I decided to take a test just to assure myself. Well, the test came out positive and I feel sick to my stomach and want to throw up. I am in a wonderful relationship with a wonderful man of four years, but this is NOT the time to have kids. I am a senior in college preparing to graduate! I am freaking out, my boyfriend is at work. I called and sent him a text, but I need some advise....something!

1. Calm down. Take a deep breath, and try to think as clearly as possible.

2. Take a second pregnancy test, if you only took one - you should always take another pregnancy test if the first one comes out positive (which is why some pregnancy test packages actually come with two tests in the package).

3. If the second test is positive, think your options over. If you decide to have the child, would you be able to support it? If not, would you be able to find a responsible family in your area that could? Would you receive any support from your family or your boyfriend's family?

4. Think about how you're going to present this to your boyfriend; chances are, he's going to be just as shocked as you are... be as calm and gentle as possible, so the two of you can make a joint decision.

In any case, best of luck! I am also in college, and know that having a child would really turn things upside down.

Oh honey, I know that it must be so scary. The test you took, if you're late, is most likely positively accurate. You are most likely pregnant, but it's okay! Most people who aren't trying have that reaction first thing when they see the positive sign. The cramps you are feeling could most likely be "implantation cramps." You get them when the fertilized egg attaches to the wall of the uterus. I'm sure that you are so scared right now, but if your man of four years loves you, he will stay by you. You will graduate just fine, and you will have a family. Try to relax. I'm praying for you.

u know wat

it is going to be very hard and maybe very inconvenient

but one day you will look into that little babies face and you are going to love him/her so much and one day you will say that you never regretted having this child

I know a lot of people have answered but I am also pregnant in college, and my husband is in college too. When I found out I was pregnant I immediately thought this through. I decided there is no way I'm working at McDonald's (no offense to anyone) to support my child in the future, as opposed to putting my degree to use. So I will continue to go to school prego. & I have a lot of support at school too. I'm confident in you to! I hope the best for you. ( It's great that you are graduating this year, I have another year :P) Good Luck!

hey, dont worry about it.. sounds like you are really happy in your relationship and dont look at everything really neagatively.. you will still be able to graduate and soon after you do you will have a baby in your arms.. i think you have gotten pregnant at the most wonderful time.. be happy and dont regret anything xx
good luck xx
