try to check your fuel filters...or if fuel is getting to engine.

My truck is a 1984 F-150 8cyl 5.0 4x4
Was starting when i first got the truck, but not well and would also bog out once i stopped or put it into reverse! It stopped starting so i replaced the starter and solenoid and the battery so now it cranks loud and strong...but still won't start....HELP!!!
What do i need to do next?
I replaced the starter and solenoid today and now it cranks great and sounds good but the engine won't start
I can see fuel in the carburetor when i remove the air filter...My carburetor is a 4 barrel edelbrock....

there's an internet Ford Forum which i have found very helpful with all different problems with all different Fords. From memory I just typed ford forum and went from there. I can't remember how I originally got on to it, sorry..Loraine...straclor
