HELP I can't make up my mind Yamaha or Pioneer?

I'm in the market for a reciever for my awesome 52" HD LCD screen. I want to do home theatre and looking for a mid range audio/video receiver.

I'm on the fence. I'm looking at the Yamaha 665 or the Pioneer 1019. Can't decide which.

Does anyone have any info on these classes of recievers. I've been reading that the current models are not as good as the previous model (as the changes have been geared to cost reduction rather than improvements).

Between those 2, I'd choose the Yamaha. However, for about the same $ I'd go with the Denon AVR-1910
