HELP :| I Cant Get Any Sound On My Computer And Am Seriously Debating

Throwing It Out Of A Window (Y)? I Have a creative sound card,
I re downloaded the drivers, NOTHING, Still didn't work,
I Have changed speakers, still nothing,
Used headphones,nothing,
And have enabled and disabled the creative software more times than I can count, I have checked the sound settings and now I've ran fresh out of ideas,
If anyone knows what I could try please let me know,
Will be much appreciated :]

And its a desktop with a card.
Its windows Xp,
Yes ihave turned the speakers on lol
and done evrything you guys have suggested,
My sound card is a Creative Ensoniq AudioPCI apparently :]

the computer came with the card and it was working fine thats why I dont understand whats gone wrong :|
Its plugged in the right port and the computer itself is still working okayy still I just dont get any sounds at all.
I shall take my sound card out then later and see :]
And yeah i have checked device manager that was the first thing I did and apprently its all enabled and shizz :\ If I do throw it out of a window I will record it cos well it would eb a giggle XD

did you ever have sound on the unit? Is that card something you just added on? If so you might want to cut your losses and replace the unit at the store. Are you sure you are using the right output port? Those cards have 4-5 of them and you may be using the wrong one. When you say you used a headphone connection. Did you use the one in the card or the one in the front of the machine? These are all critical questions.
