Hi, I have a huge huge problem..
I can't finish art.
I used to be able to commit to a picture, finish it, be proud. But for three long, gruesome years, I haven't been able to finish a single peice.
All I have to show of my "creative side" is half colored sketches. This is a HUGE problem because I want to go into animation, but how can I do any animation if I can't color a simple picture?
I am so self critical of anything I produce, and usually I beleive that is why I can't finish a picture. But I was just going through a couple of old peices, and they actually looked pretty good to me. So I started coloring on one again, but only finished like 2% of it before, again, I got bored, and also, very very frustrated.
This is an on going thing. I've probably done literally thousands of sketches, most trashed, and a couple saved. Then theres the around 10 I have that are half colored.
I would like to mention I do have ADHD, but I'm on medication for that.
