HELP I BEG YOU !! WHAT RHETORICAL SCHEMES ARE USED IN THIS SENTENCE?
The theme of this passage is basically the inevitability of death, this is the first sentence of it, could i say it is using vivid visual imagery so as to set the solemn, serious, melancholic tone and evoke the theme of the inevitability of deaht. Are there any literary devices within this sentence, or anything specifically in the wording of the sentence, or the letters, or consonants, that specifically are related to this them, like the way its said in an effect to set the tone and introduce the theme, like use of frickatives, plosive sounds, sybillance, anything like that
please help
Here is the sentence:
Gustad entered hesitantly and looked towards Dinshawji's bed.
i notice most of the endings of the words in this sentence, are hard, may it was done deliberately so when it is said, it will be hard, and awful sounding to represent something terrible like death
example in the sentence the endings of the word are:
ad, ed, nd, ed, ds, ji's ed,? any particular reason fo rthis?
sorry i am just trying to analyse this passage as much as I can please help
