Ok I spend a lot of time in my back garden, especially now its january and one of the best times of the year to star gaze. The local council are fining me for pouring 6 cans of stolen petrol all over my lawn and then setting fire to it. The thing is that stolen petrol is now 6 years old so the fact that it is stolen has now been written off making it perfectly legal to own it. My neighbors have been making complaints about the smells and fumes of the petrol and fire however it should be legal because it is on my own property. People are really taking this far, all i wanted to do is to clear the snow so that I can camp out again and now apparantly I am getting a £2200 fine.
Would I be able to win this case? I'm sure many lawyers will back me up.
